Toby's Room - Pat Barker This book was weird. I thought it was going to be about this woman's quest to find out what happened to her brother (events take place during WWI), which did happen...However, in setting up this relationship at the beginning of the novel the author made some, shall we say, interesting choices, and I'm not sure what for. Nevertheless, I would recommend the novel to others. Very good (and grim) blend of what people experienced during the war as well as the effects on them if they were sent home injured and the effects on those left behind...
