The Thief - Fuminori Nakamura Quick, easy read, but very good--I was hooked the whole time, right to the very last page. The narrator would talk about other people or experiences and only later would he reflect more on them, which drew me in simply as a curious reader but at the same time felt so natural since the book is almost entirely his thoughts and you wouldn't exposit on your own memories to yourself. Brilliant example of "show, don't tell."
