Room - Emma Donoghue I began reading this book somewhat apprehensively due to the subject matter. It's not a comfortable topic and I wasn't sure how certain details were going to be presented, what exactly was going to be presented, etc. However, it's actually very tastefully done, all of the information you need to really get a sense of what the characters are going through with none of the grisly graphic descriptions that some authors are overly fond of. Still a disturbing topic to think about overall, but this was a great read.
