This is the sort of book that any desperately lonely, depressed, confused, lost, or otherwise not really right with the world young person could use....unfortunately, I think that when I personally could have used this book the most, I would not have had the capacity to comprehend all the nuances that my past experiences let me see in it now. Still, I think a lot of people could benefit from reading this, and if I ever have to give someone a high school graduation gift, this is the book I will choose (not that trite Dr. Seuss one).
